They should have a university degree or equivalent qualification. They should have at least two year work experience in customs, and should have assessed potential for advancement.
2Certificado médico reciente con timbre médicoThe scholars should submit a certificate from a licensed physician certifying that the applicant is in good health and does not suffer from any debilitating chronic aliments.
3OtrosAfter the completion of the programme, the candidate should continue the job in home customs administration for 3 years at least and after 3 years, they should also report to the unviersity the job title and how they have been utilizing the experience they acquired in Japan.

1Boletos aéreosTotalThe cost of travel (return trip) between the Scholar´s place of residence and Tokyo will be borne by the programme budget. For this purpose an economy class pre-paid air ticket by the most direct available route will be provided to the selected candidate.

For JJ/WBGSP scholarships: government officials of World Bank borrowing countries with quality work experience of at least three years in the field of tax policy and administration in their home countries.
b) For Japan-WCO scholarships: government officials of developing countries with quality work experience of at least two years in the field of customs policy and administration in their home countries. The Secretary General of the WCO invites nominations every year from WCO member customs administrations. The candidates must be chosen and nominated by one of these customs administrations.
Objetivos del programa:
The masters degree programme comprises two segments: an academic segment and a pratical segment. The academic segment provides rigorous, economics oriented training aimed at developing a broad understanding of the theoretical, empirical and institutional aspects on customs policy implementation and administration. the practical segment is taught in cooperation with Japan Customs, including the Japan customs trianing institute.
